Oh Please!

There was an editorial in the New York Times yesterday that questions whether the US really has the best health care system in the world. Does anybody actually think that the US is even in the running? What planet are these people from? If they are from planet Earth, which drugs are they smoking? How about the award for the Most Wasteful Health Care System in the World? That is an award we can actually win.

What do you mean "most wasteful". How dare you! You must have jungle fever, what are YOU smoking?

We ARE delivering outstanding and high quality care here. Just now I prescribed several extremely important prescriptions like the prevacid, lunesta, arthrotec, requip, and a motorized wheel chair a.k.a. "the hoveround".

Now I am working hard on getting my next patient's a1c under 6.5, LDL under 70, and of course I've just added an ACE to an ARB to truly protect her kidneys.

This is very important stuff we are doing here. I'm very offended by your comments about US health care system.

Well, at least I feel fulfilled in my professional life.

now requip is a class action suit ready to happen. Let's see...can I get this patient to leave my office if I agree to destroy his dopamine axis?

hey hey, no more requip bashing on this blog, i hear that is an essential ingredient in nomad's happiness cocktail

btw interesting tip on class action lawsuit on requip, apparently it causes compulsive gambling, hmmmm, luckily no nearby casinos in Busia

Requip isn't so bad, as long as you don't mind Parkinson's or Schizophrenia as side effects. Not such a big price to pay for treating the dreded restless leg syndrome....

Anonymous you must be so proud. All your bosses and QA reviewers have ticked off all the boxes showing you are providing top quality care.
The more you prescribe, the bigger your bonus!
And if you saw over 30 patients a day, an even bigger bonus!!

Top quality and top efficiency. Outstanding. Proud to be an Amercan.
